This Privacy Policy explains how dfd.cybercastrum.com (the “Service”) handles information. It should be read together with the Terms of Use & Disclaimer. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. What we collect

Files you upload (images or videos) — processed to produce a detection result.
Minimal technical data — a temporary, in-memory record of your network (IP) address used only to enforce anti-abuse rate limits and human verification. It is not stored with your result.
No account data — the Service has no login and does not ask for your name, email, or other identifying details.

2. How we use it

To analyze your file and return a result.
To protect the Service from abuse (rate limiting, bot verification).

3. Retention

Uploaded files are deleted from the server immediately after analysis, whether the analysis succeeded or failed.

The result report (which contains small thumbnail and heat-map images generated during analysis) is kept only long enough for you to read and download it:

it is deleted automatically 10 minutes after the analysis finishes; and
if you download the PDF before then, our copy is deleted immediately — the PDF is a single-use download.

After either of those, the report is gone from our servers and cannot be recovered or re-sent. A report already displayed in your browser stays on your screen until you leave the page, and any PDF you downloaded is yours to keep. Anti-abuse technical data is transient and is not persisted with results.

4. Model training

Uploaded content is not used to train our models. Files are deleted immediately after analysis. Should this ever change, this Policy will be updated and consent obtained beforehand.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Uploaded content and results are not shared with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g. hosting and content-delivery/security infrastructure) or as required by law.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect uploaded content, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), isolated processing, and prompt deletion after analysis. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we accept no responsibility or liability for any data leakage, loss, or unauthorized access. You upload at your own risk.

7. Your rights

Because the Service is anonymous and uploads are deleted after analysis, we generally hold no personal data that can be linked back to you. Where applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) grants you rights to access, correct, or erase personal data, or to raise a grievance, you may contact us using the details in the Terms. If we cannot identify data as belonging to you, we may be unable to action such requests.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children, and you must not upload content depicting the exploitation or abuse of any person, including minors.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
